REIKI & RITUAL – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Price: $22 AUD per person, per event

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending Reiki & Ritual, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. What Reiki & Ritual Includes

Reiki & Ritual is a 60-minute online group experience facilitated via Zoom and typically includes:

•  Distance Reiki healing
•  Guided meditation
•  Journaling prompts / reflective practices

A limited-time replay (7 days) will be made available after the live session to those who have purchased a ticket.

This is a group event, not an individual 1:1 session or personalised medical, psychological, or financial advice.

 

2. Eligibility & Personal Responsibility

By attending, you confirm that:

•  You are 18 years or older (or have parental/guardian consent if younger, where appropriate).
•  You are participating voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being before, during, and after the session.
•  You will listen to your body and intuition and are free to pause, step away from the screen, skip any activity, or discontinue participation at any time.

You must not participate while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where closing your eyes or relaxing your focus could be unsafe.

 

3. Payments, Bookings & Refunds

•  The ticket price is $22 AUD per person, per event.
•  Your booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
•  Due to the nature of this offering as a live event with replay access, all sales are final.
  •  change your mind,
  •  cannot attend live, or
  •  do not watch the replay within the 7-day access window.
•  No refunds, transfers, or credits are provided if you
•  Refunds or remedies will only be provided where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

4. Health, Medical & Therapeutic Disclaimer

Reiki & Ritual is a wellness, spiritual, and personal growth experience. It is not:

•  medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment
•  a substitute for therapy, counselling, or professional healthcare
•  a diagnostic service for any condition

Nothing shared during the session or in related materials should be taken as:

•  medical advice
•  mental health or crisis support
•  financial or legal advice

If you have (or suspect you have) a physical or mental health condition, you should:

•  consult with a qualified healthcare provider before participating, and
•  continue any prescribed treatments or therapies.

If at any time you feel distressed, unwell, or triggered, you should:

•  stop participating, and
•  seek appropriate professional support (e.g. GP, psychologist, counsellor, or emergency services where relevant).

In an emergency, call your local emergency number (000 in Australia).

 

5. Distance Reiki & Energy Work Disclaimer

Distance Reiki and energy practices can affect people differently. Some may experience:

•  emotional release (e.g. tears, laughter, mood shifts)
•  physical sensations (e.g. warmth, tingling, fatigue, lightness)
•  mental or energetic shifts (e.g. clarity, dreams, insights)

By participating, you understand and agree that:

•  Your experience is subjective and can vary from session to session.
•  Results are not guaranteed and may be subtle, delayed, or not consciously noticeable.
•  The Happy Co Wellness and Karen Harrison are not responsible for how you interpret or respond to any sensations, emotions, or insights during or after the session.

You remain fully responsible for seeking professional support where needed and for any decisions you make based on your experience.

 

6. Safe, Supportive Community Guidelines

Reiki & Ritual is intended to be a kind, respectful, and inclusive space. By joining, you agree to:

•  Treat the host and all participants with respect and compassion.
•  Not engage in harassment, hate speech, bullying, or discriminatory behaviour of any kind.
•  Keep any personal stories or shares heard in the session confidential, unless you have explicit permission to share.
•  Not provide unsolicited medical, legal, or psychological “advice” to other participants.

Karen Harrison / The Happy Co Wellness reserves the right to:

•  remove any participant from the live session (without refund) if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate,
•  mute or disable chat functions as needed to maintain a supportive environment.

 

7. Technology, Zoom & Replay Access

•  The event is hosted via Zoom, a third-party platform. You are responsible for:
•  having a stable internet connection,
•  installing/updating Zoom if required, and
•  knowing how to join the meeting.
•  Joining details (Zoom link) will be sent to the email address you provide at checkout. Please ensure it is accurate and check your spam/junk folder.

Replay:

•  A replay will be available for 7 days after the live event.
•  Access details will be provided via email and/or your chosen platform login.
•  Please note:
•  Replays may occasionally be unavailable due to technical issues (e.g. technology failure, recording error, corrupted file). In such cases, at the discretion of The Happy Co Wellness, a partial credit or alternative support may be offered.
•  Replay content may be edited (e.g. to remove technical issues, late joiners, or sensitive personal shares).

 

8. Recordings, Privacy & Confidentiality

•  The live session may be recorded for replay purposes.
•  By attending live, you acknowledge that your first name, voice, and/or video may be captured in the recording if you choose to have your camera or microphone on.
•  You are welcome to keep your camera off and use a nickname if you prefer greater privacy.

You agree that you will not:

•  record, download (outside of provided access), share, or distribute the session or replay,
•  share Zoom links, passwords, or access details with anyone who has not purchased a ticket.

Limited confidentiality: While a respectful, confidential space is encouraged, this is a group setting, and absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Please use discernment when sharing personal or sensitive information.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All event content, including but not limited to:

•  guided meditations, journaling prompts, practices,
•  written materials, slides, audio, video, and replay recordings,

is the intellectual property of The Happy Co Wellness / Karen Harrison, unless otherwise stated.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to view and use the content for your own personal growth only. You agree not to:

•  copy, reproduce or redistribute any content,
•  sell, resell, or repurpose the practices, recordings, or materials as your own,
•  use the content to create competing offerings without written permission.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Happy Co Wellness and Karen Harrison:

•  exclude all liability for any loss, injury, claim, or damage (direct, indirect, or consequential) arising from or in connection with your participation in Reiki & Ritual or use of any related content;
•  make no guarantees as to specific outcomes or results.

Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, it is limited to the resupply of the services or the refund of the amount paid, at the discretion of The Happy Co Wellness.

 

11. Changes, Postponements & Cancellations by The Happy Co Wellness

The Happy Co Wellness reserves the right to:

•  change the date/time, facilitator, or structure of Reiki & Ritual,
•  postpone or cancel a session due to illness, emergencies, low enrolments, or events outside reasonable control (e.g. major technical outages).

In these cases, you will be offered:

•  a transfer to a rescheduled date,
•  or another reasonable remedy,
•  or a refund, where required by law.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

 

13. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket, attending the live session, and/or accessing the replay, you indicate that you:

•  have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, and
•  are legally capable of entering into this agreement.
